n. A place one can be at but one cannot go to.
Welcome to Trillogen.net, I'm simply ecstatic to see you here! Well, that's enough of my blabbering on. Go ahead and take a gander around, (make sure to pick up any feathers after him) and tell me what you think. Suggestions are always welcome. And while you're here don't forget to take a look at my blog. I try my best to add to it mostly regularly.

So here's the latest: my contract at House of Moves has ended and now I'm living back in San Diego again. There is a good chance I will be working up there in LA once more come January, but only time will tell. Until then, I'm on the job hunt again. I'm not too worried. Like a tiger I must be patient, waiting silently crouched in the tall grass until the perfect, unsuspecting job comes strolling along. And then I will pounce!
Yes, I'm having a grand old time, though it will take a little while to get used to unemployment, even if it's only (hopefully) for a short time. Let me know if you hear any potential opportunities.

I haven't written anything here for a while, but that's because there really hasn't been much to report. I'm still alive (thankfully), I'm still working in the same place, and I still update my blog on a regular basis. That's really all I've got for you. I'll let you know if any major changes take place (honest I will).

In case you haven't noticed, I now have a blog. I encourage you to check it out if you feel so inclined.

True, it has been some time since I’ve updated this site and it isn’t because nothing has happened recently. As is usually the case, I have been very busy. However, my guess is that most of the people who read this and actually care already have a pretty good idea of what’s new in my life, so I don’t feel all that bad about the late update. For those of you who don’t know and don’t want to know what’s going on or already know and are just plum tired of hearing about it read no further. But for those who don’t know and do want to know, here’s the skinny:
I’m now working in Los Angeles at a company called Vicon: House of Moves. I’ve been working there since mid-February and hopefully I’ve still got a few months of work left. I’m basically doing the same kind of work I did at SCEA, (namely Motion Capture animation) but a whole lot more of it. I still drive back to San Diego every weekend, so that part of it stinks like milk that has just turned bad on a hot summer day, but pretty much everything else about House of Moves is cool (like snow cones on that same hot summer day) and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to work there however long it lasts. That’s the major part of what I’ve been up to. If you’re just dying to know more personal information about me then feel free to email me, call me, instant message me, or send smoke signals. I’m a very reachable person.
Look forward to a big addition to this website hopefully within this month or the next. (That’s an order Skipper!)

I just finished my latest animation demo reel featuring some of my work at Sony along with a few of my older animations. Check it out!

After a year of work as a Mocap Animator at Sony Computer Entertainment, my contract has finally ended. It was undoubtedly a sad departure, but I now find myself looking forward to new and greater things.

After a few finishing touches, this site is pretty much finished. I’ll be adding some more art content here and there, but other than that, it will be some time before there are any other major changes around here.
In case you hadn’t heard, I graduated from The Art Institute of California, San Diego on December 2005 with a BS in Media Arts and Animation. I’m now working as a contractor at Sony Computer Entertainment America. I work on motion capture animation (where they put actors in marked suits and record their movements) for upcoming Playstation games. It’s a very relaxed environment and the job itself is quite ducky.
